Kagaar: Life on the Edge is a 2003 Indian Hindi-language crime drama film directed by N. Chandra. The film stars Om Puri, Nandita Das, Amitabh Dayal, and Anup Soni in lead roles. Storyline
A naive village boy named Bhaskar Sarnaik comes to Mumbai to find his missing brother. He discovers his brother dead in a morgue. Driven by grief and rage, Bhaskar joins the police force. He becomes a feared encounter specialist who kills criminals without hesitation. But his past catches up when he learns the city's most dangerous gangster is his childhood friend.
