Trivia

  • This was the only film where veteran actor Dharmendra and his son Sunny Deol's wife Pooja Deol appeared together, as Pooja played a supporting role.
  • The film marked the Bollywood debut of lead actress Sharbani Mukherjee, who was previously a well-known television anchor.
  • Despite starring Dharmendra, the movie had a very limited theatrical release and is considered a minor film in his extensive career.
  • Composer Anand Raj Anand, known for bigger hits, provided the music, but the soundtrack did not achieve significant popularity.
  • A subplot involving Johnny Lever's character, Sandwich, provided most of the film's comedy in a typical sidekick role for the actor.
  • The film's title is a reference to a famous line from the classic Bollywood movie 'Pyaasa', though the stories are completely unrelated.
  • Actor Amit Hongorani, the male lead, largely disappeared from mainstream Hindi cinema after this film.
