Saaya (2003) is an Indian Hindi-language supernatural romantic thriller film directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Mukesh Bhatt. The film stars John Abraham, Tara Sharma, and Mahima Chaudhry in lead roles. The story follows Dr. Akash Bhatnagar, a man who loses his pregnant wife in a bus accident and begins receiving mysterious signs he believes are from her spirit. The film is a remake of the 2002 Hollywood film Dragonfly. It features a soundtrack composed by Anu Malik and M.M. Keeravani, with lyrics by Sayeed Quadri, Praveen Bhardwaj, and Anand Bakshi. Saaya was released on 4 July 2003 and grossed approximately ₹1.1 crore worldwide. The film is noted for its emotional depth, haunting music, and John Abraham's performance as a grieving husband.

Storyline
Dr. Akash Bhatnagar is happily married to Dr. Maya, and they are expecting their first child. When Maya dies in a bus crash, Akash is consumed by grief. Strange events convince him that Maya's spirit is trying to send him a message. He must follow the clues to find the truth and save a life.
