Storyline

In 1893, a British officer imposes a harsh tax on an Indian village. A farmer named Bhuvan leads the villagers to protest. The officer challenges them to a game of cricket to settle the matter—if the villagers win, the tax is canceled.

A village's fate rests on a game they've never played.
