Sarfarosh-E-Hind(1999)
Sarfarosh is a 1999 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film written, produced, and directed by John Matthew Matthan. It stars Aamir Khan, Naseeruddin Shah, and Sonali Bendre in lead roles. The story follows ACP Ajay Singh Rathod, a Mumbai police officer investigating a cross-border gun smuggling network. His investigation leads him to a beloved Pakistani ghazal singer, Gulfam Hassan, who is secretly working for the ISI. The film is based on real events of state-sponsored terrorism in India during the 1990s. It was released just before the Kargil conflict and became a commercial success. Sarfarosh won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment and received critical acclaim for its performances and script. The film is available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Storyline
