Hatyara(1998)
Hatyara is a 1998 Indian Hindi-language crime film directed by T. L. V. Prasad. The film stars Mithun Chakraborty in a dual role as Advocate Mahendra and his twin brother Surya, alongside Suman Ranganathan and Swathi in her Bollywood debut. The story follows Professor Kajal, who witnesses a student's rape and murder by the brother of gangster Shishupal Singhania. When the police refuse to act due to Singhania's influence, Kajal's husband Mahendra fights for justice in court. After Kajal is raped and murdered by Singhania's gang, Mahendra teams with his lookalike brother Surya to exact revenge. The film was declared a flop at the box office. It features a soundtrack by various artists including Abhijeet and Udit Narayan.

Storyline
Professor Kajal witnesses a brutal crime. A student is raped and murdered by a gangster's brother. The police refuse to help. Kajal's husband, a disabled lawyer, takes the case to court. But the gangster kills Kajal. Now, the lawyer and his twin brother must choose between law and revenge.
