- Actor Saif Ali Khan, who played Raja, performed many of his own driving stunts in the car race sequences.
- The movie's soundtrack, composed by Anu Malik, included a popular song 'Hameshaa Der Kar Deta Hoon' sung by Kumar Sanu.
- Director Sanjay Gupta has cited the 1994 Hollywood film 'The Crow' as a visual inspiration for its moody atmosphere.
- Despite starring popular actors, the film was a major box office failure upon its release in 1997.
- The climax scene involving a car and a train was considered technically ambitious for its time in Hindi cinema.
