Itihaas(1997)
Itihaas is a 1997 Indian Hindi-language romantic action thriller film produced and directed by Raj Kanwar. The lead cast includes Ajay Devgn as Karan Bakshi, Twinkle Khanna as Naina Singh, and Raj Babbar as the antagonist Thakur Digvijay Singh. Amrish Puri, Shakti Kapoor, and Mohnish Bahl appear in supporting roles. The story follows a young couple from a village who flee to Mumbai after a powerful Thakur orders the man's death for loving the woman he wants. The couple is hunted by bounty hunters, and Karan's own father betrays them. The film received negative reviews for being a rehash of Kanwar's earlier film Jaan. It performed poorly at the box office, becoming Raj Kanwar's first flop. The runtime is 152 minutes.

Storyline
Karan and Naina are in love, but Naina is engaged to the powerful Thakur Digvijay Singh. When Thakur finds out, he orders Karan's death. The couple runs to Mumbai, but Thakur puts a bounty on them. Now everyone is after them, including Karan's own father.
