Sixth Happiness(1997)
'Sixth Happiness' is a 1997 British drama film directed by Waris Hussein. It stars Firdaus Kanga, Souad Faress, Khodus Wadia, and Nina Wadia. The film is based on Kanga's 1991 autobiography 'Trying to Grow'. It tells the story of Brit, a Parsi boy born with brittle bone disease in Bombay. The narrative follows his struggle for love, independence, and self-acceptance against the backdrop of a crumbling family. The film was praised for its honest portrayal of disability and sexuality. It won the Grand Jury Prize at the 1997 Paris Film Festival. It was released in the UK in 1997 and later on home video.

Storyline
