Halo is a 1996 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Santosh Sivan for the Children's Film Society of India. It stars Benaf Dadachandji, Rajkumar Santoshi, Viju Khote, Mukesh Rishi, and Tinnu Anand. The story follows Sasha, a motherless girl who adopts a stray dog she believes is a miracle sent from heaven. When the dog goes missing, she searches Mumbai's streets and encounters smugglers and street children. The film won the National Film Award for Best Children's Film and earned Benaf Dadachandji a Special Jury Award. It was first broadcast on Doordarshan on Children's Day in 1996.
