Vazhakku Enn 18/9 is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language crime thriller film directed by Balaji Sakthivel. The film stars Sri, Urmila Mahanta, Mithun Murali, and Manisha Yadav in lead roles. Storyline

A poor orphan named Velu falls in love with Jyothi, a maid. Their simple love is threatened when a rich student's crime destroys Jyothi's life. A corrupt police officer frames Velu for a crime he did not commit. Velu must choose between his freedom and Jyothi's survival.
