Anjaam is a 1994 Indian Hindi-language psychological crime thriller film directed by Rahul Rawail. The film stars Madhuri Dixit as Shivani Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan as Vijay Agnihotri. The story follows Shivani, an air hostess whose life is destroyed by Vijay, a wealthy businessman who becomes obsessively fixated on her after she rejects his advances. Vijay kills her husband, frames her for murder, and has her sent to a brutal prison where she suffers further abuse. The film is notable for its dark tone and Dixit's performance as a woman who transforms from a victim into a vengeful fighter. It received one award and one nomination. Anjaam was released in India on April 22, 1994.

Storyline
Shivani is a kind air hostess who rejects the advances of a rich, spoiled man named Vijay. He cannot accept her rejection. He kills her husband and frames her for the murder. She is sent to a brutal prison where she loses her unborn child. She survives and escapes to take her revenge.
