Bhaji on the Beach(1993)
Bhaji on the Beach is a 1993 British comedy-drama film directed by Gurinder Chadha and written by Meera Syal. The cast includes Kim Vithana, Jimmi Harkishin, Sarita Khajuria, and Akbar Kurtha. The story follows a group of British-Asian women from Birmingham on a day trip to the seaside resort of Blackpool. Storyline
A group of British-Asian women take a day trip to Blackpool. Each woman carries a secret. Ginder is fleeing an abusive husband. Hashida is pregnant by her Black boyfriend. Asha is bored with her marriage. Together, they must confront their problems and find strength in each other.
