Anjaam (1994) is a Hindi-language psychological crime thriller directed by Rahul Rawail. The film stars Madhuri Dixit as Shivani Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan as Vijay Agnihotri. The story follows an air hostess whose life is destroyed by a wealthy obsessive lover. After losing her husband, child, and sister, she seeks brutal revenge. The film features a supporting cast including Sudha Chandran, Tinnu Anand, and Johnny Lever. Music was composed by Anand–Milind with lyrics by Sameer. Shah Rukh Khan won the Filmfare Award for Best Villain for his performance. The film was a moderate box office success with estimated earnings of ₹9.66 crore against a ₹2.65 crore budget. Khan later acquired the rights under his Red Chillies Entertainment banner.

Storyline
Shivani Chopra is a happy air hostess with a loving husband and daughter. A wealthy man named Vijay becomes obsessed with her. He kills her husband and frames her for attempted murder. After years in prison and losing her child, Shivani escapes and plans a deadly revenge.
