'Deewana' is a 1992 Indian Hindi-language romantic action film directed by Raj Kanwar. The film stars Rishi Kapoor, Divya Bharti, and Shah Rukh Khan in his feature film debut. The story follows Kajal, a young widow who falls in love with Raja, an obsessive suitor, while her first husband Ravi is believed dead. The film explores themes of love, loss, and widow remarriage. It was a major critical and commercial success, becoming the second highest-grossing film of 1992. The soundtrack, composed by Nadeem-Shravan, was the best-selling album of the year. The film launched the directorial career of Raj Kanwar and established Shah Rukh Khan as a leading actor. It was released on 26 June 1992.
