Tirangaa(1992)
Tirangaa is a 1993 Indian Hindi-language action drama film directed by Mehul Kumar. The film stars Raaj Kumar, Nana Patekar, Varsha Usgaonkar, Harish Kumar, and Mamta Kulkarni. The story follows Brigadier Suryadev Singh and Inspector Shivajirao Wagle as they try to stop a terrorist named Pralayanath Gundaswami from launching nuclear missiles at India. The terrorist has kidnapped three nuclear scientists and murdered an honest police officer. The film is notable for its patriotic themes and high-stakes action sequences. It was a major commercial success and became a blockbuster. The film gained additional notoriety when the Plaza cinema in Mumbai was bombed during its screening in the 1993 Bombay bombings.

Storyline
A ruthless terrorist kidnaps three nuclear scientists to build missiles for invading India. An honest police officer is murdered, and his son witnesses the crime. The government calls a fearless Brigadier and a hot-headed Inspector to stop the terrorist. Together, they must rescue the scientists and destroy the missiles before it is too late.
