Trivia

- Actor Mithun Chakraborty, who played Inspector Indrajeet, was at the peak of his 'disco dancer' fame but chose this more dramatic role.
- The movie was part of a wave of early 90s Hindi films addressing social injustice and vigilante justice, similar to 'Ghayal' (1990).
- Actress Farha Naaz, who played Neelu, was the sister of popular actress Tabu, both making their careers in the 90s.
- The soundtrack by Bappi Lahiri included the hit song 'Tumse Milne Ko Dil Karta Hai', which became popular on radio.

- The film's plot involving the adoption of a union leader's orphaned child mirrored real-life labor issues prevalent in India at the time.
