Storyline
An Indian family is forced to leave Uganda in 1972. Seventeen years later, they live in Mississippi. The daughter, Mina, falls in love with a Black man named Demetrius. Their relationship faces opposition from both the Indian and Black communities. Mina must choose between her family’s traditions and her own heart.
