Amiri Garibi(1990)
Amiri Garibi (1990) is a Hindi-language drama film directed by Harmesh Malhotra and produced by Pradeep Sharma under TUTU Films. The lead cast includes Jeetendra, Rekha, Rishi Kapoor, Neelam, Raj Babbar, and Poonam Dhillon. The story follows Rani, a poor village girl who marries into a wealthy Bombay family, only to face constant humiliation and abuse from her mother-in-law Sheela and husband Rajesh. After her father-in-law Kedarnath dies, Rani is thrown out of the house along with Deepak, the poor husband of her sister-in-law Jyoti. The film is a remake of the Telugu film Makutamleni Maharaju (1987). It features music by Laxmikant-Pyarelal with lyrics by Anand Bakshi. The film was released on March 15, 1990, and carries a U certificate from Indian censors.

Storyline
