Kaaranama(1990)
Kaaranama is a 1990 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed, written, and produced by actor Ranjeet. The film stars Vinod Khanna, Kimi Katkar, Farha Naaz, Amrish Puri, Nirupa Roy, and Iftekhar. The story follows Suraj, a horse trainer, and his deep friendship with his wonder horse Chetak. A wealthy gambler named Rana tries to destroy them after Chetak keeps winning races. The film is notable for its slick production style, inspired by Feroz Khan's filmmaking, and includes a pioneering underwater love scene between Khanna and Katkar. Despite its technical merits, the film failed at the box office and ran only a few weeks in theaters.

Storyline
Suraj is a horse trainer whose best friend is his wonder horse Chetak. Rich gambler Rana wants to buy Chetak, but Suraj refuses. Rana then plots to destroy both the horse and the man. Suraj must protect his friend and win the biggest race of his life.
