Vanavarayan Vallavarayan is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Rajamohan. The film stars Krishna, Monal Gajjar, Ma Ka Pa Anand, and Niharika Kareer. The story follows two brothers in Pollachi who face a conflict when one brother's love affair is opposed by the girl's family. The film's title pays homage to Rajinikanth and Napoleon's characters from the 1992 film Yajaman. The musical score is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film was released on 12 September 2014 to mixed reviews from critics. It features veteran actress Sowcar Janaki in a comeback role after 15 years.

Storyline
Vanavarayan falls in love with Anjali, but her family arranges her marriage to a wealthy man. When Vanavarayan's brother Vallavarayan humiliates Anjali's father, she demands that Vanavarayan choose between his brother and her. Vanavarayan must decide between his love and his family bond.
