Welcome to Karachi is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language black comedy film directed by Ashish R. Mohan and produced by Vashu Bhagnani. The film stars Arshad Warsi as Captain Shammi Thakur and Jackky Bhagnani as Kedar Patel, with Lauren Gottlieb, Dalip Tahil, and Ayub Khoso in supporting roles. The story follows two Indian friends who attempt to sail to America but end up in Karachi, Pakistan, where they are mistaken for Taliban militants and become pawns in a media and political circus. The film was shot in the United Kingdom, with locations in Bradford, Birmingham, and Wales standing in for Karachi. It received largely negative reviews from critics and performed poorly at the box office, grossing approximately ₹5.5 crore net in its opening weekend. The film was released on 28 May 2015.

Storyline
Two friends, Shammi and Kedar, want to escape their boring lives in India. They decide to sail to America on a small boat. But a storm crashes them on a beach in Karachi, Pakistan. Now they must survive in a hostile country while being chased by gangsters, the ISI, and the Taliban.
