Maharani Kottai is a 2015 Indian Tamil-language horror comedy drama film written and directed by S. Vinod Kumar. The cast includes Richard Rishi as Sanjay, along with 'Ganja' Karuppu, Aani Princy, and Ashwin Raja in supporting roles. The story follows Sanjay, a man who buys a cheap, abandoned castle only to discover it is haunted by the vengeful spirit of a betrayed queen. As he and his friends move in, they are killed one by one by the ghost. The film blends scares with humour and a moral lesson about greed. Storyline
Sanjay buys a mysterious old castle at a bargain price. He invites his friends to stay and help renovate it. But the castle is haunted by a queen's angry spirit. One by one, his friends die in strange ways. Sanjay must uncover the queen's secret and survive the night.
