Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum(2016)
Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Nalan Kumarasamy. It stars Vijay Sethupathi as Kathir, a small-time gangster, and Madonna Sebastian as Yazhini, an IT professional. The story follows two neighbours from vastly different backgrounds who form an unlikely bond in a low-cost housing colony in Chennai. Kathir dreams of owning a bar while Yazhini struggles to find a job after her company shuts down. The film is a remake of the 2010 South Korean film My Dear Desperado. It received positive reviews for its performances and writing but was an average commercial success. The music was composed by Santhosh Narayanan. The film was released on 11 March 2016.

Storyline
Yazhini moves to Chennai for an IT job but loses it within months. She moves into a cheap colony where her neighbour Kathir is a gangster fresh out of prison. They clash at first but slowly become each other's only support. When Yazhini's parents force her to marry, she introduces Kathir as her boyfriend. But her parents discover his true identity and take her away. Meanwhile, Kathir is ordered to kill a rival gangster. He helps Yazhini attend a job interview before carrying out the plan. The mission goes wrong and Kathir is left for dead. Two years later, Yazhini searches for him and finds him alive and changed.
