Manithan is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language legal drama film written and directed by I. Ahmed. The story follows Sakthivel, a junior lawyer who files a public interest litigation against a wealthy man acquitted in a fatal drunk driving accident. Storyline
A struggling lawyer named Sakthivel moves to Chennai to make a name for himself. He sees a rich man walk free after killing a poor family in a drunk driving accident. Sakthi files a case to reopen the investigation. He must fight against a powerful lawyer and a corrupt system to get justice.
