Storyline
A low-caste poet named Hari falls in love with Seeta, a rich zamindar's daughter. Her brother Eshwar hates Hari because of his caste. Years later, during World War II, Hari and Eshwar are forced to fight together in Italy. Their personal hatred clashes with the horrors of war. Hari must decide whether to save his enemy or let him die.
