
Kaavalan(2011)
Kaavalan (transl. Bodyguard) is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language romantic action comedy film written and directed by Siddique. It stars Vijay, Asin, and Mithra Kurian, with Rajkiran, Roja Selvamani, and Vadivelu in supporting roles. The story follows Meera, who develops feelings for her bodyguard Bhoominathan and begins calling him anonymously as Ammukutty. The film is a remake of Siddique's own Malayalam film Body Guard. It was selected for screening at the Shanghai International Film Festival and received positive reviews for its cast performances, humour, and action sequences. The film grossed approximately ₹45–102 crore worldwide and completed a 100-day run in two theatres in Tamil Nadu.

Storyline
A young bodyguard named Bhoominathan is assigned to protect Meera, the daughter of a powerful landlord. Meera hates being followed and creates a fake identity to call him anonymously. As they talk, she falls in love with him, but a dangerous rival threatens her family. Bhoomi must protect her while hiding his own growing feelings.
