
Metro(2016)
Metro is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language action crime film directed and produced by Anandakrishnan. The film stars Shirish in his debut role, alongside Bobby Simha and Sendrayan. Set in the outskirts of Chennai, the story follows a middle-class family destroyed by chain snatching. A college student, Mathi, joins a gang and accidentally kills his mother. His elder brother Arivu seeks revenge, unaware the killer is his own sibling. The film received an 'A' certificate from the Indian Censor Board for its violent content. It was released on 24 June 2016 to positive reviews and became a box office success. The film was later remade in Kannada as Siliconn City.

Storyline
