
Simba(2019)
Simba is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language stoner comedy film directed by Arvind Sridhar in his directorial debut. It stars Bharath as Mahesh, a lonely cannabis user, alongside Premgi, Swathi Deekshith, and Bhanu Sri Mehra. The story follows Mahesh, who after smoking marijuana, perceives his neighbor's Great Dane as a talking human. This hallucination, Simba, becomes his friend and guides him in winning the neighbor's affection. The film is loosely adapted from the Australian TV series Wilfred. It received mixed reviews upon its theatrical release on 25 January 2019 and had an average box office performance. The soundtrack features songs by Vishal Chandrasekhar, including the single "Pinjula Pinjula" sung by Silambarasan.

Storyline
A lonely stoner named Mahesh agrees to watch his neighbor's Great Dane. After smoking weed, he sees the dog as a talking human named Simba. Simba becomes his best friend and helps him try to win the neighbor's heart. But Mahesh must figure out if Simba is real or just a drug-induced dream.
