Varmam(2011)
Varmam is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language vigilante film directed by A. S. Lawrence Madhavan. The film stars Akilan as Siva and Anaka as Vidya, with Nizhalgal Ravi, Bala Singh, and Meera Krishnan in supporting roles. The story follows Siva, a hardware engineer who becomes a vigilante after his sister is killed by a sex trafficking ring. He systematically hunts down and kills everyone responsible. The film was produced by Hanifa Master and Arunachalam Kumar under Crescent Creations. Music was composed by Meeralal, with cinematography by W. Paul Gragory and editing by J. Jaishankar. Storyline
Siva is a simple hardware engineer who loves his sister Nandhini. When she is sold into sex trafficking and dies trying to escape, Siva's world shatters. He becomes a vigilante killer. One by one, he hunts down every person who hurt her. The police chase him. A corrupt politician protects the last target. Siva must decide how far he will go for justice.
