Sadhuram 2 is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film written and directed by Sumanth Radhakrishnan. The film stars Roheit Nair, Yog Japee, Riaz, and Brihadish Kaushik in lead roles, with Suja Varunee and Sanam Shetty in supporting roles. The story follows two men who wake up in a locked square room with a dead body and must follow the kidnapper's rules to survive. A separate plot follows a businessman who survives a plane crash and becomes a vigilante. The film is a remake of the 2004 American film Saw and was marketed as India's first philanthropical thriller. It received positive critical reviews but had an average box office performance. The film was an official entry at the IIFA Utsavam 2017. It was released on 16 September 2016 in over 100 screens across India.

Storyline
Two strangers, Vishal and Dr. Vasudevan, wake up in a locked square room with a dead body. A voice on a tape tells them they have eight hours to escape. The only way out is for one of them to kill the other. As they search for clues, they uncover a dark connection to a rape case and a blackmail plot. A mysterious mastermind watches from the shadows.
