Sawaari is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language road psychological thriller film written and directed by Guhan Senniappan. The film stars Benito Franklin as ACP Solomon, Sanam Shetty as Jeni, Karthik Yogi as Ravi, and Mathivanan Rajendran as Mathi. The story follows a police officer who must catch a psycho killer on the highway while trying to reach his own wedding. The film is set mostly on a dark shortcut road, creating a tense and claustrophobic atmosphere. Storyline
ACP Solomon is a police officer on the hunt for a psycho killer who murders hitchhikers on highways. With his wedding just hours away, Solomon's car breaks down. He hitches a ride with a young driver named Ravi, who is delivering a vintage car to a dangerous MLA. Together, they pick up a mysterious hitchhiker. On a dark shortcut, they must survive the night and catch the killer before it is too late.
