Athiradi Padai(2016)
Athiradi Padai is a 1994 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by R. K. Selvamani. The film stars Rahman, Suman, and Roja in lead roles, with Lakshmi, Vijayakumar, and Silk Smitha in supporting parts. The story follows IAS officer Chitralekha who refuses to sell public land to a corrupt businessman, leading to her murder. Her daughter Bharathi takes up the fight for justice, facing betrayal, prison, and personal tragedy. The film is loosely based on the real acid attack on IAS officer Chandralekha. It was released on 10 February 1994 and also released in Telugu as Samaram.

Storyline
