En Rathathin Rathame is a 1989 Indian Tamil-language science fiction action film directed by K. Vijayan and completed by his son Sundar K. Vijayan after his death. The film stars K. Bhagyaraj and Meenakshi Seshadri in her Tamil debut. It is a remake of the Hindi film Mr. India (1987). The story follows a poor auto-rickshaw driver who uses an invisibility machine to fight against royal villains plotting to overthrow democracy. The film blends family drama, romance, and superhero action. It received mixed reviews, with praise for Meenakshi's performance but criticism for using M. G. Ramachandran's name. The soundtrack was composed by Shankar–Ganesh. The film was released on 14 April 1989 during Puthandu.

Storyline
A poor auto driver named Natesan takes care of orphan children. A dying scientist gives him an invisibility machine. He becomes the invisible hero Vaathiyaar to fight against a royal family that wants to destroy democracy. But the villains steal the machine and use it for evil. Natesan must stop them before they take over the state.
