Moodu Manthiram (transl. Mumbo jumbo) is a 1989 Indian Tamil-language thriller film directed by Manobala and written by P. Kalaimani. The film stars Prabhu and Rekha in lead roles. The story follows Dilip, a wealthy and arrogant man who seeks revenge on Kalpana, a principled district collector, by pretending to love her and marrying her. The film explores themes of pride, betrayal, and the consequences of manipulation. It was produced by A. M. Ismail under Kaiser Creations and features a soundtrack composed by Shankar–Ganesh. Moodu Manthiram was released on 1 July 1989 and failed at the box office.
