Puyalpadum Pattu(1987)
Puyal Paadum Paattu is a 1987 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Manivannan and written by M. Karunanidhi. It stars Radhika as a journalist and Raghuvaran as a police inspector, with Murali, Vinu Chakravarthy, and Master Haja Sheriff in supporting roles. The story follows a journalist who investigates the death of a college student and uncovers a drug addiction ring operating on campus. The film is a remake of the 1986 Malayalam film Pranamam. It was released on 21 October 1987 during the Diwali festival. The Indian Express praised the campus scenes and youthful energy, while Kalki noted the film loses momentum after the interval.
