Sattam Oru Vilaiyattu(1987)
Sattam Oru Vilaiyattu is a 1987 Indian Tamil-language vigilante action film directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar and produced by Shoba Chandrasekhar. The film stars Vijayakanth, Radha, and Ravichandran, with a young Vijay appearing as the child version of the lead character. The story follows a man who seeks revenge against the criminal who murdered his mother and brother when the legal system fails to deliver justice. The film was released on 21 October 1987, coinciding with the Diwali festival. Despite mixed critical reviews, it became a commercial success alongside Vijayakanth's other Diwali release Uzhavan Magan. The music was composed by M. S. Viswanathan with lyrics by Gangai Amaran and Pulamaipithan.

Storyline
A young boy watches his mother and brother get murdered by a powerful crime lord's sons. When the police cannot convict the killers due to lack of evidence, the boy grows up and becomes a vigilante. Under a new identity, he systematically hunts down each of the criminals responsible for destroying his family.
