Daivapiravi(1985)
Daivapiravi is a 1985 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by R. Krishnamoorthy. The film stars Mohan, Radhika, and Urvashi in lead roles. It is a remake of the Telugu film Devatha (1982) and was produced by D. Ramanaidu under Suresh Productions. The story follows two sisters, Janaki and Lalitha, who both fall in love with the same man, Mohan. Janaki hides her love to protect her younger sister, leading to emotional conflict. The film explores themes of sacrifice, family bonds, and selfless love. Cinematography was handled by Vinayagam, and editing by Chakrapani. The soundtrack was composed by Shankar–Ganesh with lyrics by Vaali. Daivapiravi was released on 14 April 1985, coinciding with the Tamil New Year. It ran for one hundred days in theatres and received appreciation for Mohan's performance.

Storyline
