Paadum Vaanampadi is a 1985 Indian Tamil-language dance film directed by M. Jayakumar. The film stars Anand Babu and Jeevitha in lead roles, with Nagesh appearing in a guest role. It is a remake of the 1982 Hindi film Disco Dancer. The story follows Anand, a poor street performer who rises to fame as a disco dancer while confronting the wealthy family that destroyed his father. The film features music composed by Bappi Lahiri and Shankar–Ganesh, with the song 'Naanoru Disco Dancer' becoming a chartbuster. It was released on 24 February 1985 and ran for over 100 days in Chennai theatres.

Storyline
