Pudhiya Theerpu(1985)
Pudhiya Theerpu is a 1985 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by C. V. Rajendran. The film stars Vijayakanth and Ambika in lead roles. It is a remake of the 1983 Telugu film Neti Bharatam. The story follows Inspector Raja, an honest police officer who fights a corrupt system controlled by a powerful criminal. Raja is betrayed by the legal system and becomes a vigilante to deliver his own judgment. The film explores themes of justice, corruption, and personal sacrifice. The music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja. The film was released on 4 October 1985.

Storyline
Inspector Raja is an honest police officer in a city ruled by the corrupt criminal Namachivayam. When the legal system fails to punish the villain, Raja loses everything. He must decide between following the law and doing what is right. He chooses to become a vigilante and deliver his own judgment.
