My Dear Kuttichattan(1984)
My Dear Kuttichathan is a 1984 Indian Malayalam-language children's fantasy film directed by Jijo Punnoose and produced by Navodaya Appachan. The cast includes M. P. Ramnath as Kuttichathan, Kottarakkara Sreedharan Nair as the evil magician, Sonia as Laxmi, and Master Suresh as Vijay. The story follows three children who free a magical goblin from a sorcerer's spell and befriend him. The film was India's first 3D production and required special camera lenses imported from the United States. Ilaiyaraaja composed the soundtrack. The film grossed over ₹2.5 crore and ran for more than a year in some theatres. It was later re-released in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu with additional scenes.

Storyline
An evil magician enslaves a magical goblin named Kuttichathan. Three children accidentally break the spell and free the goblin. The goblin becomes their friend and uses his powers to help them. But the magician wants his servant back and will stop at nothing to recapture him.
