'Nallavanukku Nallavan' is a 1984 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by S. P. Muthuraman and produced by AVM Productions. The film stars Rajinikanth as Manickam and Radhika as Uma, with Karthik, Thulasi, and V. K. Ramasamy in supporting roles. The story follows Manickam, a former rogue who marries an orphaned woman and transforms into an honest businessman after inheriting his boss's factory. The film explores themes of loyalty, sacrifice, and family bonds. It was a major commercial success, running for over 150 days in theatres across Tamil Nadu. Rajinikanth won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Tamil for his performance. The music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja. The film released on Diwali day, 22 October 1984.

Storyline
A former rogue named Manickam marries an orphaned woman to protect her. He promises to change his violent ways. He takes a job at a failing factory and works hard to save it. When the owner dies, Manickam inherits the business. But the owner's son believes Manickam cheated his father and seeks revenge.
