Aanandha Kummi(1983)
Aanandha Kummi is a 1983 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Gokula Krishnan, credited as Balakrishnan. It stars Ashwini and debutant Balachandran in lead roles, with Goundamani, Senthil, Baby Shalini, Pasi Narayanan, and Karuppu Subbiah in supporting roles. The story follows Jeeva and Selvi, childhood friends whose love is tested when a long-buried secret divides their families in a rural Tamil village. Produced by Jeeva Ilaiyaraaja under Ilaiyaraaja Pictures, the film features a soundtrack composed by Ilaiyaraaja with lyrics by Vairamuthu and Gangai Amaran. Despite its music and cinematography receiving praise from critics like Jayamanmadhan of Kalki, the film failed commercially at the box office. It was released on 25 December 1983.

Storyline
