Ilaimai Idho Idho(1983)
Ilaimai Idho Idho is a 1983 Indian Tamil-language comedy-drama film directed by R. Ramalingam in his directorial debut. The film stars Chandrasekhar as Kuppusamy, Nisha Noor as Kannamma, and Rajendra Prasad in a supporting role. The story follows a money-obsessed village thug who reluctantly takes in an orphan girl framed by a corrupt panchayat head. Set in a rural Tamil village, the plot explores themes of trust, love, and societal judgment. The music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja with lyrics by Gangai Amaran and Vairamuthu. Jayamanmadhan of Kalki magazine praised the film as proof of the director's bright future. The film was released on 29 April 1983.

Storyline
A rough village thug named Kuppusamy cheats people for money. An orphan girl named Kannamma is forced to leave her village after refusing a corrupt leader's advances. She becomes Kuppusamy's servant. He does not trust her. She must win his heart while a new suitor also wants to marry her.
