Muthu Engal Sothu(1983)
Muthu Engal Sothu (transl. Muthu is our wealth) is a 1983 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed and produced by G. N. Rangarajan. The film stars Prabhu as Muthu, a loyal servant, and Radha as his love interest. The story follows Muthu, who works for a wealthy man unaware that the man is his biological father. The rich man conceals the truth out of fear of social shame, creating a painful distance between father and son. The film explores themes of hidden identity, class division, and family reconciliation. It features a soundtrack composed by Ilaiyaraaja with lyrics by Vaali and Vairamuthu. The film marked the feature debut of actor Venu Arvind. Upon release, critic Jayamanmadhan of Kalki magazine compared the plot to the 1960 film Padikkadha Medhai and criticized the dialogues for being vulgar. The film was released on 9 December 1983.

Storyline
Muthu is a devoted servant in a rich man's house. He does not know that the man he serves is his real father. When the truth comes out, Muthu must decide whether to forgive the man who kept him at a distance for years. His love for Radha gives him the strength to heal the broken family.
