Om Sakthi(1982)
Om Sakthi is a 1982 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar. The film stars Vijayakanth as the antagonist Kathavarayan and Menaka as Kanniamma, a woman possessed by the goddess Om Sakthi. Jaishankar appears in a special role as Singaram. The story follows a cruel landlord who terrorizes a village and a devout woman who receives divine power to defeat him. The film is notable for Vijayakanth playing a negative role, a departure from his usual hero image. It was released on 21 May 1982 and failed at the box office, causing a temporary setback for Vijayakanth's career. The music was composed by Shankar–Ganesh.

Storyline
A cruel landlord named Kathavarayan rules a village with violence and fear. He sets his eyes on Kanniamma, a kind woman who refuses his advances. When he attacks her family, Kanniamma prays to the goddess Om Sakthi for help. The goddess possesses her body, giving her the power to fight back and bring justice.
