Kanneer Pookkal(1981)
Kanneer Pookkal (transl. Flowers of tears) is a 1981 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by Rajasekhar. The film stars Vijayan and Sripriya in lead roles, with Anand, Anumanthu, Vijay Babu, Manorama, Pandari Bai, Rohini, and Roopa in supporting roles. The story follows Raju, a clerk who loses his job and family after accepting a bribe, and his long journey toward redemption. Based on Sivasankari's novel Aayul Thandanai, the film explores themes of forgiveness, social judgment, and sacrificial love. It was released on 10 April 1981 and received positive reviews for its performances and cinematography by V. Ranga.

Storyline
