Rathathin Rathame(1981)
'En Rathathin Rathame' is a 1989 Indian Tamil-language science fiction action film directed by K. Vijayan and completed by his son Sundar K. Vijayan after Vijayan's death. The film stars K. Bhagyaraj as Natesan and features Bollywood actress Meenakshi Seshadri in her Tamil debut. The story follows a poor auto-rickshaw driver who gains an invisibility machine from a dying scientist and becomes a vigilante called 'Vaathiyaar' to fight a group of royals plotting to overthrow democracy. The film is a remake of the Hindi film 'Mr. India' (1987) and incorporates elements of Tamil pop culture by referencing M.G. Ramachandran. The soundtrack was composed by Shankar–Ganesh. The film was released on 14 April 1989 during the Puthandu festival.

Storyline
A poor auto-rickshaw driver named Natesan takes care of orphan children. He receives an invisibility machine from a dying scientist. He becomes the invisible hero 'Vaathiyaar' to fight against a group of royals who want to destroy democracy. But when the machine falls into enemy hands, Natesan must find a way to stop the invisible villain.
