Nenjathai Killathe is a 1980 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written and directed by Mahendran. It stars Suhasini in her debut role, alongside Sarath Babu, Pratap Pothen, and Mohan. The story follows Viji, a young woman who must choose between the man she loves and the man she marries. The film was shot in Bangalore, primarily at Cubbon Park. It won three National Film Awards, including Best Feature Film in Tamil. The music by Ilaiyaraaja became highly popular. The film was released on 12 December 1980 and ran for nearly a year in Chennai.

Storyline

Viji is a free-spirited young woman living with her brother and his jealous wife. She falls in love with Ram, a mechanic with low self-esteem. When a lie destroys their relationship, Viji marries the patient photographer Pratap. But she cannot forget Ram, and her past threatens to ruin her future.
