Agal Vilakku(1979)
Agal Vilakku is a 1979 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by R. Selvaraj. The film stars Shoba as Navaneetham and Vijayakanth as Dhanushkodi in his first leading role. The story follows an orphan idli seller who marries a worker activist, only to face betrayal from his greedy family. The film features a soundtrack composed by Ilaiyaraaja, including the popular song 'Yedho Ninaivugal'. Storyline
Navaneetham is an orphan who sells idlis to survive. She falls in love with Dhanushkodi, a worker activist who cannot hold a job. They marry against everyone's wishes. When Dhanushkodi becomes mayor, his family's greed threatens to destroy their love.
